What to ExpectDuring the flushing process, water is pushed through the distribution system at a high velocity to remove sediment and mineral deposits that may have accumulated in the watermains. As a result, some residents may notice temporary water discoloration, typically appearing as a yellow or rusty tint caused by disturbed iron particles.While the water may appear discoloured, it remains safe, treated, and suitable for normal use. If discoloration occurs, residents are encouraged to run a cold-water tap for several minutes until the water clears.If the discoloration persists or if you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Utilities Department for assistance.
